With her passion for social-emotional learning and inquiry-based instruction, Brooke Braga strives to integrate creativity and empathy into her sixth grade classroom on a daily basis. Brooke previously attended the University of California, Irvine, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior and a minor in Educational Studies, and her Master of Arts in Teaching. Currently, she teaches sixth grade in Newport-Mesa Unified School District in Newport Beach, California, and actively shares her and her students’ successes and setbacks with the Twitter education community (@brooke_braga). Brooke is also a National Council of Teaching Mathematics Member, as well as a Google Certified Educator and Apple Teacher, working to fuel her students’ curiosity and help them to achieve their goals!
