Jody Guarino is former National Board Certified Elementary teacher and is currently a Mathematics Coordinator for Orange County Department of Education in Orange County, California, where she supports teacher and student learning of mathematics in elementary grades. Jody feels fortunate to be part of the Illustrative Mathematics community, collaborating with educators and mathematicians to create a world where learners know, use and enjoy math. She has published several peer reviewed papers on mathematics teaching and learning and designed and facilitated math professional learning for educators across the country. Jody is the California Mathematics Lead for Student Achievement Partners and a Lecturer at University of California, Irvine.
